Chester Beatty) titled 'Cortlandt Field Bishop Sale', listing 40 lot numbers and their estimated prices, with another column titled 'Bid ACB' with ten price entries, but with one marked 'omit' and another crossed out: eight in total; 2) another list (ACB's hand) titled 'Bishop Sale', with the eight lot entries (seven have lines struck through) and prices paid by Beatty; 3) note card with 'Merton A' in one hand and 'MS 1917' in another (possibly R.J. Hayes); 4) bookmark with the numbers 368 and 369 written on it. |
